Then on 6 September, Simon Bailes, Griffon Erasmus, Raif Jinnah, Connor McMurray, Luneziwe Mshengu, Rendani Nonge, Shail Rajkumar, Brent Tayengwa, Leonardo van de Dronker Derbynew, Connor Wilson and Mvelo Zondo all participated in the IEB Collaborative Problem-Solving Task, where they teamed up online with other participants across the country and answered a series of questions based on the topic of Prescribing Change: Navigating Healthcare Challenges in South Africa . Our TARPS year concluded with a three-course formal dinner, including a rump steak that was enjoyed by all. The guest of honour was Ms Alida Smith, who reminded the boys of some very simple lessons in life, such as: acknowledge, appreciate and nurture the things that make you different. Different is not good or bad, it is just different. Further points made by Ms Smith were to know the difference between arrogance and confidence, and finally to listen more than you talk. The boys also had an opportunity to say goodbye to Mr Gerry Noel and welcome Mrs Tanith von Mayer as the Master in Charge of TARPS from 2025 onwards. We wish her all the best in this exciting role.
