Looking ahead, Mackenzie is in good hands. Lerotholi Seeiso has been elected as Senior Prefect for 2025 and we trust that he will personify what it truly means to be a well-rounded Mackenzie boy in his endeavours. Rhys Barry has been elected as the Head of House for 2025 and I know that he and his fellow prefects – Tristan Atkinson, Louis Ayo (Deputy Head of House), Phiko Madlanga, Daniel Nel and Sumbi Tshivahse – will lead the House to the best of their ability. The progress that Mackenzie made this year did not go unnoticed, and more gains will come in the years ahead. This would not have been possible without the drive and passion of Mr Jeffrey, the love and care of Ms Cornelius, and the deep involvement of all the tutors. A special thanks must go to Ms Judith Fikile for always ensuring that the boys lived in a clean, homely environment. For that, we are truly grateful. As I prepare to bid farewell to Mackenzie, I will forever cherish the memories that I, along with my fellow leavers, have made in our home away from home. The boys of Mackenzie are more than just friends. They served as brothers that are irreplaceable. I would like to thank my Mackenzie brothers for all that they have done for me and for the House. Each of you has left a unique mark on Mackenzie, and I will be forever grateful for the bonds that we have formed.
