our journey from 10th place in the annually awarded Todd Cup in 2023 to an outstanding fourth place this year. Being more competitive has brought a sense of unity which has been evident in both sports and cultural pursuits, where we had several boys placing highly with their various instrument performances. This went a long way towards our outstanding second place in the annual cultural week, which was a remarkable improvement on ninth last year. When I was elected to my role as Head of House, I knew that minor changes needed to be made. These changes served as the foundation for our transformation into a House that is “determined to win”. Our new boys developed well together this year and displayed excellence in several areas, really buying into our new-found sense of purpose. Nathan Marshall excelled in the U14A hockey side, and earned provincial colours. He also achieved an outstanding third place overall in his age group at interhouse athletics. Kwetsimani Machimana led the defensive line of the U14A football side, and shone on the basketball court with the U14A. Jayden Barry served as 191
