Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr Matthew Higginson, our Housemaster. His steadfast leadership was the backbone of Baines, offering us all inspiration in addition to a steady hand. As Head of House, I have had the good fortune to observe directly how much he cares about the development of each boy and the success of the House. His ability to strike a balance between compassion and firmness created an atmosphere where everyone felt appreciated and inspired to do well. Mr Higginson’s impact went beyond the House’s daily operations; his vision and commitment established a benchmark for excellence that still serves as our guide.
