portunity wholeheartedly, helping set the tone for the next era of Farfield. The House also celebrated major success in inter house sport this year, securing first place in swimming and first place in athletics – a double triumph that speaks to the com mitment and drive of our boys. The A Block has been an exceptional group this year, demon strating maturity, camaraderie and a strong desire to lead by example. As we conclude our final year, it is clear just how much we have achieved together. With five first-team players among our number, the Block made an immense contribution to the school’s sporting strength. Academically, Hayden Hewlett and Seth Harie earned honours for outstanding achievement, un derscoring the balance of discipline and talent that defines this group. The A Block has led Farfield through every high and low with grit, determination and a genuine investment in the growth of the House – a legacy that will stand long after our departure. The boys of B Block stepped confidently into their roles as the next leaders of Farfield as the year drew to a close. The appointment of Alex Jankowitz as Head of House reflects his character, consistency and leadership. The B Block’s sporting

achievements have been commendable this year, with Laird Hamilton-Brown, Alex Jankowitz and Jack Carmody all repre senting the school at first-team level in rugby – an outstanding accomplishment for the group. Academically, Harry Porter and James-Patrick Hayward-Butt distinguished themselves through strong performances across the year, proving to be reliable and committed scholars. This Block enters 2026 with momentum and maturity, well positioned to lead Farfield forward. The C Block returned from their Journey experience – an in tense two-week test of physical endurance and personal re flection – with a renewed perspective on life and plenty of war stories to tell. Summiting the Berg, rowing long distances, cy cling through demanding terrain, farm walking, and enduring solitude all shaped the boys in profound ways, and the lessons drawn from Journey have already strengthened the Block’s resilience. A major sporting highlight was Fabiano Fierro’s se lection to represent KZN at the Grant Khomo U16 Week. His team went on to win the tournament, marking an exceptional achievement and a proud moment for the Block. Khazimula Ha debe also did his Block proud by being selected to represent the First XI soccer team.
