Our success on the court was evident throughout the year as we secured victories in various competitions, including the annual uMgungundlovu Doubles League and the Denness League. These achievements were a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players, both new and seasoned, who brought their talent and enthusiasm to every game. Welcoming a talented group of new boys added a fun and fresh dynamic to our team. We made it a priority to create an inclusive environment where every member felt valued and supported, regardless of their level of experience. One of the highlights of the season was undoubtedly our participation in the annual Sun City Schools Competition, where both our first and second teams remained undefeated, showcasing our skill and determination on a national level. In the last quarter, we finally emerged triumphant in the De T

Throughout the year we emphasized the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship and mutual respect both on and off the court. Socials with neighbouring schools, and new competitions, such as the inaugural Siblings Cup, provided opportunities for building friendships and strengthening bonds. Highlighting our individual successes, several of our players, including Karl Schaefer, Benjamin Heuer, Henry Love and Noah Holl, earned well-deserved spots on the KZN and/ or district teams, representing Michaelhouse with pride and distinction. As we reflect on the year, we are proud of the strides we have made and the positive impact we have had on our team members. Moving forward, we remain committed to nurturing a welcoming and supportive environment where all players can thrive and grow in their love for tennis.
