is what has remained the same. The little things that make our House so special. While the dorms we occupy during our time here may have been renovated and modernised, the lifelong friendships formed, banter passed, and the occasional dorm war remain. The grass of Punchbowl might have been replaced with astro turf but every Friday afternoon the boys of our House will continue to be seen enjoying an often highly competitive game of football or touch rugby on it, together. It is through these small things and others like them that Baines and the connections formed within the House are what they are, exceptional. The impact that your House has on your time at Michaelhouse and ultimately on the person you become cannot be underestimated. Your House and the boys in it are what shape who we become in our five years here; and Baines just gets it right! Long may we create men with the ability to make a positive change in the world beyond the dormitories, dayroom and field we are fortunate enough to call Home during our time here.
