These conflicting emotions are not just because of any losses that we may have experienced, but as much about the extremely wet weather we have experienced in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands. Nearly 40% of fixtures were either rained out or failed to materialise at all. There were some brilliant results from the cricket club. Our third and U14B XIs registered win ratios of over 80%. This is quite I

simply a superb feat. Our lower teams also enjoyed an incredibly successful year, tabling 70% plus win ratios. We didn’t only celebrate success achieved on the cricket field, but also the fact that as a club we have been able to maintain our cricket numbers where many other schools struggled to match us for depth. Our A teams did not have as successful a season as they would have hoped. While we registered some good wins, the start-stop nature of the season was highlighted by the form of our A teams throughout the year.
