This year, a few purple brothers have left to pursue specific ca reers, and a few have joined from diverse cultural backgrounds. This House is proud of the diverse dynamic that is prevalent in its corridors, whether it’s playing House table tennis, watch ing the Springboks or having conversations between different Blocks. The House has been outstanding this year in all as pects, as the boys have put tremendous work into everything they have done. The foundation and expectations were laid for our E Blockers to become men of Michaelhouse and proud McCormick men. This is a unique E Block group that is destined for great years ahead. Samuel Strachan achieved A aggregates across all terms and was part of the winning future-builders team. Josh Hlambelo achieved an A symbol for eight subjects and performed in Je sus Christ Superstar , the school play. His cacking partner, Ab dallah El-Maamry, represented the U15B basketball team and performed with the marimba band. Aarno Hall achieved an A average and represented the U14B football team. Lungi Lepe sa made the PMB debate team and represented McCormick in cultural activities. Nkosinathi Funani passed Grade 4 piano and
