out my time in East, I have often found myself re flecting on what truly defines an East man.

To me, a true man from East embodies a brotherhood that is lived, not spoken. He lifts others through hardship, stands shoulder to shoulder with his peers in both triumph and chal lenge, and understands that real strength is found not in ris ing above others but in helping others rise with him. This is the spirit of East. Looking back on my time as Head of House, I am filled with deep gratitude and immense pride. Very few young men are fortunate enough to attend Michaelhouse, and even fewer are granted the honour of leading a House like East. This respon sibility has given me a profound appreciation for the qualities that shape our identity.
