The 2025 cricket year was one of excep tional achievement. Although many schools across the country continued to experience declining participation in cricket, Michaelhouse maintained strong numbers and competitive spirit throughout the year. This is a testament to the enduring appeal of cricket at Michael house, and we are immensely proud that so many boys contin ue to embrace this beautiful game. There were some outstanding results during the year. The school’s overall win ratio reached an impressive 59%, demon strating consistent performance across all age groups. Sever al teams deserve special recognition: our Fourth XI achieved a remarkable 81.8% win ratio with nine wins from 11 matches, and the U16B team posted an excellent 83.3% win ratio. The

U15B team also shone brightly with an 80% win ratio, winning eight out of ten matches. These outstanding performances set a high standard for all teams.
