terhouse gala, with only five points separating the top three Houses. The final standings were: Farfield (334 points), Tatham (332 points) and East (329 points). The school swimming team excelled at the Howick Invitational Gala, finishing first and collectively breaking ten records on the day. The season concluded with a strong showing at the Top 10 Gala, hosted by Maritzburg College at Westville Boys’ High School. Despite a disqualification in the medley relay, the team secured fifth place out of ten with 141 points, marking a significant improvement from previous years. A highlight was the 5x50m freestyle ladder relay, in which Michaelhouse fin ished a close second to Westville.
