Later in the year, the choir performed alongside the Drakens berg Boys Choir in their annual Noël Concert on 23 November in the Chapel, where the clarity and expressiveness of their sound were widely praised. The Chamber Choir also continued to play a key role in the school’s worship life throughout the year, contrib uting to many of the major services and adding depth and beau ty to moments of reflection and celebration. The Chamber Choir sang at various full-school Eucharists, Grandparents Day, the Rededication of the Chapel, the Prefect Induction Service and Remembrance Day, as well as the Rector’s Farewell Service. The year drew to a close with the traditional carol services, where the Chamber Choir’s poised and expressive singing added great ly to the warm, festive atmosphere. Their sound this year has been consistently applauded for its clarity, balance and emotion al resonance. With their strong sense of ensemble and under the steady guidance of Mr Dry, the Chamber Choir continues to shine as one of the school’s most refined musical groups. The Chamber Choir’s repertoire this year included songs from a wide range of genres, such as traditional southern African, classical, rock and pop music.
