Despite initial challenges, their participation in festivals and tournaments facilitated significant improvements, laying a robust foundation for future endeavours. The U14B and U15B teams, mentored by Mrs Dale Lynch and Mr Peter Stevens, respectively, showcased promising depth and development, fostering healthy competition and indicating prospects for high-level water polo at Michaelhouse. The final event, the annual interhouse water polo tournament, witnessed spirited matches between Founders, Farfield, Pascoe and Tatham. Over 150 boys participated, culminating in captivating encounters, marking a vibrant conclusion to a bustling year of water polo at Michaelhouse. The dedication, growth, and achievements across all levels of water polo at Michaelhouse reflect the resilience and commitment ingrained within the school’s sporting ethos. As the season concludes, the legacy of 2023 stands as a testament to the passion and perseverance of the athletes, coaches and broader Michaelhouse community..
