MATRIC BALL
2023 – MEN OF MICHAELHOUSE Written by Marcel Cornelius and Ilne Visagie
A more spectacular and successful event we could not have asked for. The boys were stunned by the beauty of the decor, saying it was unforgettable. The boys looked good and their partners looked beautiful, and they danced the night away. An event like this would not have been possible without the help and assistance of the housekeeping, maintenance and management departments, as well as staff and parents. We had a special team of mothers helping us with the organization and set-up of the event, and to them we are so grateful. The boys lived up to the theme for the night and behaved like the Men of Michaelhouse we know and love. What a magical night it was.
T
his year the theme for our Matric Ball was Men of Michaelhouse . Following much preparation, thought and planning, the Matric Ball was an extraordinary and memorable night held in August in the Indoor Centre. The boys enjoyed a night of style, sophistication and brotherhood. With the Indoor Centre decorated and set up for the dining experience, the boys had the opportunity to get together as the Men of Michaelhouse to celebrate five years together as a group. It was a wonderful night for the boys to enjoy during their final year at Michaelhouse.
