Kyle Heyns consistently secured first place in all his races, while Uyanda Magadulela maintained a top-ten ranking in each event. JUNIOR CATEGORY FINAL INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: First: Kyle Heyns Second: Uyanda Magadulea 11th: Harry Witherspoon 26th: Ethan Perry Our senior team also had some excellent results amidst a strong field of competitors. Ruben Visagie claimed first place in all races, and Theo Apteker consistently ranked in the top ten.

he 2023 cross country team at Michaelhouse showed dedication and sportsmanship throughout their interschool events. Despite not retaining their trophies, the team secured a strong second place overall, with individual athletes achieving impressive results. From dominating races to participating in charitable events, the team’s commitment to excellence and camaraderie both on and off the track has been commendable. The interschool competitions were held at various locations, including Linpark High, Michaelhouse, Grace College, Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High, Worldsview (hosted by Maritzburg College), St John’s DSG and St Anne’s.
